In the wake of a thrilling State of Origin opener, the round thirteen action has kept things in a similarly entertaining trend - the round producing some really thrilling matches.

PREMIER LEAGUE
Adelaide recorded just their forth win of the year this weekend, and did it in fine style with a 42-4 humiliation of the hopeless Hornsby Mavericks. With the wheat beginning to sort itself from the chaff, it's clear that the relegating side will come from either Hornsby or Wagga unless things drastically improve at the clubs.

Division Two was not short on action either, with players keen to make an impression before sides for the second State of Origin are selected.

North Queensland rebounded to form after last week's loss to Tasmania, adding to Bondi's recent woes with a solid 26-14 victory over the aptly named Battlers.
