Title: Wests Tigers sign Fatso
oiler - November 7, 2005 07:29 AM (GMT)
Owen Cragie has been thrown a lifeline by the Tigers. If he gets his weight down, I have no doubt he'll start at 5/8th for us in the World Club Challenge and the early rounds of the season.
When Benji returns, he'll prob go to reserve grade, despite his insane talent.

hahahahahah insane talent.

I think this will be a brilliant signing for Wests, and by the time marshall is comming back we'll be saying "what are they going to do with Craigie now, where will they fit him in?"

An incentive based contract would be the best outcome for both parties imo...

He is one of the most naturally gifted footballers i've seen.
Despite his weight he could still do remarkable things with a football.
If he could manage to get down to a good weight.....I think he'd be an asset to any club...it was a smart pick up by Wests imo.

Agree 100%. On a good day Craigie was as good as Fittler and Lockyer. Unfortunately those good days are few and far between, due to his weight and lack of committment.

brian smith must be cut
im sure owen craigie was in his plays for 06
oh well
maybe we can give craig field a call or even somehow lure john doyle off the roosters, we need a complete washout in our team it just doesnt feel the same!
