NSW coach Mick Treacy today announced his preliminary squad for the first State of Origin in 3 weeks time. It is a 32 man squad which will be cut down a week prior to the first game.

He's in RSC, for Christ's sake. I don't see Jaime Soward being considered for NSW in real life.

i think i'll pick a 9/8 prop playing in Premier League over a 7,7 prop playing in RSC thank you very much.
