Rene Engelhart put in a dominant display up front to lead the Kookaburras to a 10-14 victory over Balmain Storm. But it was Fishers goal kicking sealed the match.

In a game of two halves the first 40 minutes was very close. The Raiders up 8-10 at the half. The second half saw the floodgates open as the Raiders put away a hapless looking Hurricanes side. Paul White calling the shots superbly from 5/8, and converting 8/9 goal attempts.

It was a superb halves showing that won the Panthers this match with both halves getting two apiece. In a similar tale to the one above, the side went to the break at 10-10. The Panthers came out and blew the Lions off the park with a 26 point second half effort. Barnes earned the 3 POMs scoring 20 of the sides 36 points.
