BRONCOS flyer Leon Bott today continued to enhance his football reputation after being picked in the Australian Invitational XIII to play New Zealand 'A' in Saturday's curtain raiser to the Tri-Nations match at Telstra Stadium.

In a side made-up of six Kangaroos, who were left out of this weekend's Kiwi Test, and 11 from the Junior Kangaroos squad, winger Bott was named outside Dragons and NSW Origin centre Matt Cooper.

His selection puts the icing on his maiden first-grade season cake.

He gained a starting birth for the Junior Kangaroos in last Saturday's 24-16 loss to Papua New Guinea after an impressive NRL season where he missed only two games and scored 13 tries.

The short but solid year-12 student could line-up against fellow Broncos Tame Tupou and Greg Eastwood on the weekend with the winger and five-eighth/lock in the frame for 'A' selection.

He is set however to play alongside former Bronco Scott Prince after the Wests Tigers 2005 grand final winning captain was partnered in the halves with Dragons five-eighth Trent Barrett.

Geez for someone that no one in ASRL rates in Leon Bott he sure does make a few teams. I would think that that makes him not to bad at all ;)

Funny how you boy Jarrod Mullen did not get into the side, and yet Col Wilkie and Todd Carney both got in, in front of him. I don't see any other Knights in the team as well, where could they all be?

Covell made the county origin team as well. Monthy Betham use to be decent until the kiwi gene took over him and all he wanted to do was fight haha Once he was a Warrior now what will become of the broken hearted?
