Round seven didn't have any 'holy' connotations for a lot of teams this week, with a large number of one sided results and streak ending losses.

Auckland's promising three game winning run has been brought to a halt by the desperate Central Coast Falcons, the reigning premiers scoring twenty eight unanswered second half points to record a morale boosting 32-6 away win.

The Northern Cannons' near record unbeaten streak came to a shuddering halt today, the Cannons humiliated at home by the visiting Surfers Paradise Punks. Going in as near unbackable favourites, the Cannons were humbled by a 32-0 first half display, and eventually went down 44-8.
