Title: ASWF under new management

Chris Columbo - September 26, 2005 06:01 AM (GMT)
Hi guys
Just a short note to say that ill be running the ASWF for the moment. So any requests for occurences (eg a surpirse attack from another wrestler, a short promo speech for between bouts, pretaped backstage events to occur during the show.) should be mailed to fractional1@hotmail.com
msn address is as above.
Ill try to write events you ask for into the shows wherever possible.
Im also thinking about doing a news section to outline new stories, rehash over ongoing fueds and discuss how wrestlers are going in regards to form.

I plan to base wrestlers form on posting quality. A wrestler who creates interesting storlines or can stir the pot enough to enhance a fued will be more likely to win a title. I hope to also develop some sort of alliance sytem. If you develop alliances that are strong i will allow beatdowns and stuff by the characters of the alliance. Basically i plan to make your wrestlers more competitive because you have put in time to develop them.

If anyone is in opposition to this let me know. Ill also take suggestions on what you think would improve the ASWF.

Ey has CWB officially left the company...wow the stress must of got to him

Just one question are you going to continue current feuds and PPV matches?

Or are we starting from after then?

chriswalkerbush - September 26, 2005 07:58 AM (GMT)
I'd suggest that the current storylines and titles continue. Starting again would just mean the story wouldn't progress and everyone's hard work would be done.

I'll still be around, might even enter a worker, just can't handle doing ASRL, Berner Street Wrestling, IWF, and my other stuff on top of it.

Chris Columbo - September 26, 2005 08:18 AM (GMT)
Yeah i hope people continue their current stories. But at the moment i only know whats happened in the past two shows. If you have a major storyline you want to continue just keep going with it. Ill start reading some older posts and catch up with whats happened over the last two months or so. Any more than that and youll have to catch me up.

VictorTheViking - September 26, 2005 09:32 AM (GMT)
Why is CWB running away, I can take Lawrence any time any where, lol

So does this mean Im going to be seeing a rematch with Johnny Law in the future?? :P

P.S. I dont even know where my storyline is heading atm, im just kicking ass every week, then ending up in a bloody heap

beef - September 26, 2005 12:01 PM (GMT)
Sorry to hear that CWB has handed it over but im sure Chris Columbo will do a good job. So a new card to be up soon?

Chris Columbo - September 26, 2005 12:49 PM (GMT)
We have a fairly limited roster right now so i guess everybody will probably face a rematch with Law at some stage in the future for now i have a few plans for him.

I am thinking of creating some non player or undercard wrestlers to fill the roster a bit more and provide some random matches here and there. Particularly for people who arent posting and have fallen back to undercard status as a result. I probably wont do too much promo for undercard wrestlers but if anyone else wanted to involve them in storyline occasionally i could hand over control of non player character for alliance forming purposes :)

Id really like to get a few more wrestlers happening on here so if you have any friends you think might be interested feel free to direct them here so we can sign them up.

Big Pete - September 26, 2005 01:10 PM (GMT)
I was just wondering too when are your guidelines going to be?

Like when will you start shows and when will they end? And when will a new card be posted?

Also not a bad idea and one I had myself, maybe making some WWF characters here and there to enhance feuds wouldnt be bad idea's either. Also I'll be making a tag team which will be debuting after the PPV...

Just to help you out with my feud with DJ I'll explain the backstory, which Raider can help fix up if he has any concerns on what I've written. Practically DJ won the title a few shows ago and thus far has been the peoples champion and is well liked by all the fans. DJ is considered un-stoppable and his character is similar to The Rocks however Raider throws in some elements which help differs his character.

While my character was once the top face of the company. After supposibly being booed after his last title shot Big Pete turns on the fans and wrestlers alike and turns heel. Big Pete is in the state where he is against the company and hates anyone the fans cheer because he believes they are sell outs.

Practically me and DJ U-Neek ran into one another on the first show when he took me out. Then we had a match the next week which I won (while I was face and he was also face). Then we became tag team partners which kind of brought of us together however we later dropped the titles when I turned on all the faces. DJ then defeated Pete to decide who would verse Brandell at the PPV. The Show after the PPV DJ won while Pete's feud with Quincy was going. Eventually the feud between Pete and Quincy finished when I won the shot against DJ who had become the figure head of the company.

The feuding began later that night when I cost DJ his match against Ian so a tag match was made for the following week. This is where it stopped but the match has been built to be peoples champion versus the comapnys outkast.

If there is anything Raider wants to add, then go for it but I believe I got the gist of it.

Chris Columbo - September 26, 2005 01:51 PM (GMT)
Cheers for that Pete its a big help.

Ill start to write up a new card for the next show sometime tomorrow. I will finish the last show first. As far as scheduling of matches, im looking at starting with two regular shows per month and 1 PPV. The three days after a show could be devoted to you guys making challenges and submitting wishes for matches. If a challenge is accepted ill pencil it in on the card over the three days unless i think it will build the match by postponing it. If people dont make a challenge ill pencil something else in that seems like a drawcard. Once the card is pencilled in you will have 6 more days to promote your match and submit stuff like a prepared speech for between bouts. Im aiming at a show every ten days. Ill work out a schedule for the coming show shortly. Ill probably try to post matches on a friday or saturday when i have more time. No set schedule right now. Ill keep you posted. Im also open to providing an occasional surprise match that might build up right before a show.

Big Pete - September 26, 2005 02:08 PM (GMT)
I like it Chris, although I'd really want probably one more ASWF show to build up the feuds more. However do what you feel comfortable with and we'll follow along.

Chris Columbo - September 26, 2005 02:20 PM (GMT)
Well if anyone wanted to co write some shows i wouldnt mind having a third show but Im also at tafe and doing some other writing projects at the moment so one every ten days seems good right now. It also allows people a bit of time to post as people arent all that regular right now. Id hate to overdo it and scare people off.

Raider_69 - September 26, 2005 03:20 PM (GMT)
all ya need to know is DJ U_neek is the money man, while the titles around his waist this fed will continue to shine like his star  ;)

MackDadday - September 27, 2005 12:41 AM (GMT)
petes full of shit, SQP3's about 4-2 over him and won there scond last match before a shit scam one him the last match. feuds dont end when someone cheats to win. they fire up. i think big petes tired ass repetitive promos will end up his undoing....youll pay for this injustive large pete1

Manurewa_Marlins - September 27, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
Sean 'Carnage' Lawrence and CWB have major beef, check previous shows for the low down. Would CWB be interested in staying, just as a storyline boss rather than the actual boss?

IanG - September 27, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
Ah ok so it's a case of carry on from where we left off. Good. Just last time when we from the LUF came to the new fed some of us had to start again.

Also one suggestion I made to CWB was that seeing as how theree are 2 girls in the fed (Kirsty and Miss Devine) could we do something with them at all?

chriswalkerbush - September 27, 2005 05:31 AM (GMT)
I'll keep Chris Walker-Bush around as a character, until the transition to the Johnny Law regime is complete.

May or may not enter a worker of my own somewhere down the track

Well if the position is still open I wouldn't mind writing up the third show, however if there are better offers/options than I will be able to live with your decision.

Chris Columbo - October 2, 2005 12:53 PM (GMT)
No you are welcome to write a third show Pete. I am also interested in getting one or two people to judge posts. I know i am interested in certain storylines and probably not by others so id like to have more than just my opinion deciding victories. If you are interested in judging this too you are welcome. Id probably like one more person in on this too if anybody is interested.

Big Pete - October 3, 2005 08:28 AM (GMT)
Yeah I'll judge on other peoples posts.

I'd nominate Raider 69 to judge posts as well, considering he is one of the top promo writers on this board.

IanG - October 5, 2005 03:03 AM (GMT)
I'll also keep doing my occasional House Shows too

Big Pete - October 5, 2005 05:27 AM (GMT)
Nice to hear that Ian.

chriswalkerbush - October 5, 2005 09:48 AM (GMT)
Count me in to 'judge' posts. I'm neutral in it all.
