Title: Contracts
Description: Some teams need to do asap

mickyj - September 9, 2005 08:14 AM (GMT)
There are a number of sides which have not done their contracts for this season.

Check the contract rules in the yahoo group to see what to do.

You have 50 years on contract to spread across your 25 players. Once signed you can only get ride of them by trading. You can never go over the 50 players.

These side need to do this asap. If not done very soon they will be done for you and you might lose your best players.

Hornsby - Not done
Auckland - not done
Canberra - not done
South Queensland - not done

a couple of questions
- how do I know what my salary cap is?
- I don't want to resign a few of the current squad, how do I go about filling those spots?, I assume I must leave appropriate years out of the 50 left over to accommodate those yet to be signed players

Anthony:

There's an entire forum called 'Contracts', it lists current contract lengths and such. Except for those who may be renewed, anyone on a one year deal as well as any RSC player outside of the safety net is 'off contract'.

Daniel:
- Division Two salary cap is 5.5 million
- If you don't want to re-sign any of your one year deals, don't. They'll all become free agents and you can bid on people who are off contract to fill your squad

I have done the contracts for Canberra Chargers. I gace them to chris who then posted them on this site.
