| SOURCE: www.aswffanzone.com New Workers Boost Interest The flagging ratings of ASWF On Edge have received a boost of late with the debuts of Johnny Law and Chris 'The Wildcard' Karizma. The buzz is also solid surrounding the return of a repackaged Sean Lawrence and the still to be announced debut of a new tag team. Will ASWF legends such as Jelly Adams, Baron Eric von Crazcke, or Huge Hefner be called back to boost ratings? More as it comes to hand! Releases The ASWF have recently released a number of workers who have not been used in recent shows. The biggest of these was The Rock, who was with the company for a brief period whilst promoting his latest movie, 'Doom'. Others to face the axe have been Stronach, Steamroller, Bone Daddy, Sonny Bill, CJ Bruton, and The Whore. With the exception of The Whore, none of these workers ever enjoyed much of a push - though Bone Daddy was a constant fixture in LUF related fixtures. Elimination Chamber dead? We reported in our last column that an Elimination Chamber had been built for use in the near future, but with the lower number of workers available, it's unclear as to whether or not this will go ahead. Insiders report that this Elimination Chamber was set to be the venue for Brandell's title defeat, but with the former World Champion checking into rehab with a substance abuse problem - the belt had to be shifted to DJ U-Neek sooner than management would have liked. Berner Street Wrestling Whilst it is already well documented that Bone Daddy has left ASWF to join rising federation 'Berner Street Wrestling', word is that DJ U-Neek has also been linked to a possible appearance for the burgeoning young federation. Reports of an ASWF 'invasion' have proved unfounded. |
