Owen Craigie would have to be the biggest waste of talent i've ever seen. Such a naturally gifted footballer ruined by poor coaching and laziness.

I don't think porr coaching has anything to do with it! Lack of work ethic and total laziness has plenty to do with it! He is a waste of time for anyone to pick up unless he can pick up his fitness, because if he doesn't he won't last in the NRL. This is not a racist comment at all but alot of Aboriginal footballers are the 1st ones to complain about unfair treatment and the likes, when alot of them give themselves bad names! Roy Bell (drink driving), Anthony Mundine (taking off from st.george), Andrew Walker (Drugs), Jason Bullgarelli (Drugs), Nathan Blacklock (Taking off from St. George), Darrell Trindall (You name something stupid he has done it). Alot of them have themselves to blame for poor work ethic and then they complain about not making teams because they are Aboriginal. I think that is one of the weakest excuses, like Wendell Sailor said "Aboriginal people need to stop complaining about not getting anywhere and do the hard work and get there themselves, I would not have got where I am today if I had just sat around and complained and not put in the hard yards." Sailor is a black man and he did it and went to the highest of highs in Rugby League. This is not to say I am not sympathetic towards Aboriginals, because I am! I played with a team at Logan which was half Aboriginal and I know what they go through from what they have told me. But when it gets to the point when it is just stupidity and just plain Laziness in Training like Craigie they just don't deserve another shot! That goes for anyone no matter what race they are, if they are Lazy or do stupid things around football clubs they deserve to be shown the door. There are 1000s of blokes out there who'd give there right nut to play NRL, and when you get guys there that stuff around when they have a contract, why should you be sympathetic to them. This has turned into a very long post about this, but it is just to the point where if he wants to continue to be lazy, why should he be picked up by any team as it would just be a massive waste of time!
