The Pebble enjoyed a brief period of popularity through his feud with Brandell, but was forced to move off the ASWF card due to an on-going battle with chocolate sauce addiction. The Pebble is not expected to have a match at the June PPV. Elimination Chamber Built! ASWF Fanzone can report that the ASWF have commissioned the building of an Elimination Chamber! This style of match, made famous by the WWE in recent years, has provided some memorable clashes over time- and the ASWF is clearly out to cash in on that. No word on when the device will be used, or who will participate, has been heard. Baron Eric Von Crazcke To Appear? Fans of the 'old school' ASWF will be disappointed to hear that the rumours about the evil German baron appearing at the next ASWF PPV have been found to be untrue. Von Crazcke (or Theo Kamis as he is known in real life) has said that, while he enjoyed his time in the ASWF, he has other committments to attend to. Reunion Show in Sydney! On the subject of old school ASWF, a 'reunion show' featuring some of the ASRL's most famous former competitors has been slated in for September. Former superstars such as Jelly Adams, Wizard1o1, Aaron & Trent, PJ Marshal, and 'Charisma' Chris Maunder are expected to make appearances. No word as to whether other former stars such as Chopstick or Ralph 'The Ice' Burgesson will be included in the card. Invasion to End Sources close to the ASWF writing team have heard that the current LUF invasion angle will continue through to this month's PPV before being decided in a 'winner take all' match between Mark Read and Chris Walker-Bush. Other rumoured matches for the PPV include a World Title match between Brandell and DJ U-Neek. |
