Ryde have triumphed in a thriller in today's clash against Christchurch, Tony Tatupu's late try for the home side going unconverted and inching Ryde closer to a maiden finals campaign.

Gisborne remain one of the teams to beat in an increasingly unpredictable RSC competition, a hard fought 15-8 victory seeing the Heat remain in touch with the league leaders.

An heroic three try haul from US import Tony Gonzalez has seen Pine Rivers upset Hunter 34-24, and cast some serious doubt over the Bantams' top four aspirations.

Cairns have won an absolute thriller in their clash against Souths today, the victory in a Queensland derby seeing Cairns move into ninth position and place pressure on eighth placed Wests.

Sunshine Coast have gutsted out a far from convincing 26-22 victory over luckless Kandy today, seeing them also move into a share of second position with Kensington.

The Entrance are just one point clear at the top of the RSC ladder, following today's 12 all draw with the lowly Port Kembla Voodoo. With Habib El Mukhtar and Mikhail Mitrofanov in the Falcons' lineup, the Tigers struggled against an enthusiastic Voodoo outfit.
