with the warriors owned by cullen sports who are heavily in the boxing arena and with anthony mundine saying he still defend his crown (if he wins it - he would have a 0.1% chance the other fighter has a heart attack in the ring) once a year.
couldn't the warriors offer mundine a 50,000 league contract and a 300,000 boxing contract.
and only the 50,000 been countered for the salary cap. :P
i dont think the warriors will offer mundine 50,000 cause to be honest i dont think the warriors would even need him with the way they are playing this season. I hope mundine will never return to league cause he gives league a bad name. He should stick to boxing cause thats were his name is and should stay for the rest of his career.
Mundine was originally a five-eight i think if he does play for the warriors which i hope he does i dont think that he will be a fight-eight, he might be placed in centre role because of his size. The warriors all ready have a good five-eight and halfback in nathen fein and stacey jones and they seem to be handling there role real well this year.
Jones is goooone at seasons end, and i now dont really see mundine coming back to league, as for the cap question, im not sure how thatd work, but mundine would be pursing more than 300k for a fight anyway....
Ooh ok, well the warriors still have plenty of other good players, besides Mundine to play half back, such as Brett Webb could probably play halfback when jones goes off to england.
