A winning streak of 7 games has come to an end for the Bushwackers at the hand of the Isotopes. Winning the toss and electing to bat, even without batsmen
such as Ponting, and a regular keeper, the Bushwackers posted an impressive total of 7-299 off thier full 50, with Clarke making 131 off 109. Wiseman
had a forgettable game, with 0 for 84 off 10, but Pollock bowled well for the figures of 3-40 from 10. Tendukar posted yet another half century, and
eventually was bowled by McGrath for 56.
The Isotopes made a drastic change to thier batting lineup which saw Gilchrist drop to 6 and Martyn 7 and Pollock, Boucher and Wiseman promoted up the order
all as pinch hitters. Pollock did well for his 14, Boucher failed with 4, Wiseman went very well with 27, and they had done their job of containing Bond and
Sami and protecting thier better batting teammates. The plan went from ok to good when the in-form Marshall strode to the wicket with the score at 3-66,
and started to compile an innings with his partner Kallis. They added 70 together, then Marshall with Gilchrist added 57 and the Isotopes were 5-193, and
looked like they were putting up a fight. Marshall continued with Martyn, Marshall falling trying to smash Vettori after posting his 100. The work had been
done by Marshall though, with 106 off 101, and left the game in Martyn and Youhana's hands, and they didn't faulter and finished the game with 12 balls to
spare.
Marshall was MOM, with Clarke's superb innings setting up the Bushwackers total taking 2 points, and Pollocks all round effort brought 1 points for him.
Next game the Bushwackers will be back to full strength with 3 players due back. Keeping during this game may have cost the Bushwackers the game,
Solanki called on to do the job, but 12 byes evaded him, compared to Gilchrist's 3.

Next round the Bushwackers play the Crusade.
