Footage cuts as the money is handed over.

Law comes to the ring to wrestle, faced by the boos of the suspicious crowd. in the ring he speaks as if dissapointed. "People, people..... my loyal fans, have faith in me. I know this looks suspicious but if youll wait a moment i will explain." Law rummages in his breifcase and pulls out a document. He hands it over to the ring announcer who reads it as Law speaks. "I have recently made a deal with referee Steve Earl. This deal is one in which both parties have made a loss. For Steve Earl was recently the proud owner of a very quiant 12 foot aluminium dinghy. This Dinghy had a trailer and i purchased these items along with assorted implements associated with running it. Its all in the contract."

(SCENE: It is about 8:00 am, the scene is set in Jason Lane's apartment. Lane is sleeping after a long night of partying and hanging out with friends. His small one room apartment is unorderly, his clothes are thrown all around, dishes are stacked high in the sink, and his rug is stained from spilt drinks. Lane just moved to New York City one month ago and the place hasn't yet been furnished. For furniture the apartment consists of only one small couch in the center of the room where Lane lies sleeping dead-like. Right next to him on the floor is an empty jack daniels bottle and a empty pack of marlboro lights. He's been away from the business for a couple years now and he hasn't found out yet what's in store for his wrestling career.)

(A sharp looking man walks in Lanes apartment. The man looks as though he could be a part of the mafia. His hair is slicked back with gel, he has brown eyes, and has an Italian looking face. He has a sizable nose which is one of the first things you notice when looking at him. His shoes are really shiny and would make decent mirrors. He walks over to Lane and pokes him to try and wake him up)

"Lane wake up, I have some good news for you. You may actually beable do something good with your life."

(Lane opens his eyes and starts to talk... half groggy)

LANE: Hey Frankie... What the hell you doin' here... It's 8 o'clock in the morning...
F: I just got word back from the ASWF department head. They say they believe that you're a real up and comer. They want you to play a big role in making the ASWF one of the greatest feds around.

(Lane gets up from the coach. He walks over to the sink and splashes his face with cold water. He pours himself a cup of orange juice and chugs it down)

LANE: Great... When do I start?
F: Real soon. You better get your ass in the gym.
(he picks up the jack daniels bottle by the couch) And no more partying and acting irresponsibly. You need to make a difference... You can be the Champion of the world if you get your act together.
LANE: (Lane takes off his levis and throws on a pair of shorts, He grabs his gym bag and throws a towel and a pair of sneakers in it) Don't worry about me Frankie. They don't call me Jason "Murder" Lane for nothin'.
F: All right, that's what I like to hear. Okay, I just wanted to let you know what's going on. I have some business to take care of. You just get your self in shape and get ready to whoop some ass.
LANE: I'll be at the gym starting today.
F: Great, sounds good. (He walks towards the door) Oh yeah and another thing, when you make some money, get a cleaning lady, this is no way to be living. You'd think i was walkin through a dumpster or somethin'.. All right I'll see ya' later Lane.
