Some ill preperation from the Sunshine Coast Wizards has seen them rolled by Port Kembla with a 10-40 thrashing. The Wizards were blown off the park right from the start and found it hard to fight back with Voodoo fullback Raymond Rauporo in excellent form which could see him promoted.

Hunter have made their intentions clear with a convincing 20-0 win over Wests. While many Wests players were promoted to fill the Brisbane Bulls representitive voids, their was no blemish on the Bantums who held a mistake free defencive line-up for 80 minutes.

The Entrance has extended their lead in the RSC with a 24-4 win over Cairns. The young lebanese halfback Habib El Muktar continues to turns heads in the competition and tearing apart opposition with the skills of a first grader and today was no different as Cairns struggled to find any answers.

man in the rsc it is very close for the last two spots in the top eight with five teams between 4 and 5 points behind sixth place gisborne. after round 18 that is.
