Title: Fenech's Lovechild to represent Malta

All star Lock Jonny Máquina has revealed that he is keen to represent the country of Malta in the upcoming world cup. The well known Brazilian player says that in 1963, when his mother was only 17 years old, he interacted in a physical nature with Maltese and ARL star Mario Fenech.

Maquina's mother had this to say when interviewed by Daily Bugale's Nosey Parker "It was a mistake I made when I visited Australia when I was a teenager. My friend dragged me to a niteclub and introduced me to a footballer. We went back to my hotel and we did the deed. The next week I found out I was pregnant with Jonny. I know it may have been a mistake but I never regret that I gave birth to Johnny. His passion is Rugby League, and he went to Australia to get his chance and has done very well. Now, he wants to meet his father and represent his country in the World Cup to showcase his skills on the world stage"

Maquina himself was stunned by the news last month when his mother revealed that she had an affair with an Australia/Maltese man. Maquina had this to say "I think I now know where my love for Rugby League came from. Its good to know my real father and I would like to prove to him that I can represent his country with honour and pride that I know all Maltese display".

It has been suggested by witness's of the father and son that the son said "wow its nice to meet you, you bastard" and Fenech replied with "Who's your daddy bitch". Then they embraced in a hug and quite talking and crying proceeded.

Mario Fenech had this to after it was revealed "I was stunned. It was a mistake I made when i was younger and just starting my career. It was a bit awkward when I first met him, but I admire the kids ability. We should have a good time lining up with each other. I just hope he doesn't bloody knock me out (Laughs)".

Inaugral Maltese coach Mick Treacy said of Máquina's request "you kidding me. Thats brilliant for the team. We now have the likes of Jonny, Magro, Pariah, Domic, Ben Jacos as well just announced his Maltese heritage. We now, in my belief have a team that will mix it with the best".

With the addition of Jonny Máquina to the team, it is believed that he will be the five-eight for the Maltese national team with the team believed to be shaping up like this:

1. Trent Pariah
2. Shane Mongta
3. Sid Domic
4. Ben Jacobs
5. Magro Boyd
6. Jonny Máquina
7. Matthew Gafa
8. Ned Catic
9. Jim Dymock
10. Michael Vella
11. Paul Mellor
12. Mat Toshak
13. Scott Magro (Captain)

14. John Buttigig
15. Danny Galea
16. Ben Galea
17. Ryan Borg

18. Mario Fenech
19. Steve Galea
20. Daniel Spiteri
21. Ben Sammut

That team, we believe will definately make the world cup and with some form and class players in it, could push the best players.
