After a player strike and numerous other things, the forth round of the ASNRL kicked of this week with some great clashes.

Some ill discipline has let the Roosters down in a rematch of last season grand final. The Panthers led by Luke Priddis stormed home to down the Roosters 22-20.
Penrith: Luke Priddis 2. Girdler 6/7. Gower 2 fg.
Sydney City: Chris Flannery, Brad Fittler, Luke Ricketson and Adrian Morley. Walker 1/1, Crocker 1/2 and Fitzgibbon 0/1.
PoM: Chris Flannery 3, Luke Priddis 2, Anthony Minichiello 1.

The Broncos put their best foot forward today in a easy 22-4 win over the Storm. With star players in every position it was tough work for the judges to pick a player of the match.

South Sydney caused a boil over downing the Sharks today in front of 35 people at the Aussie Stadium. In a messy game that the crowd couldn't really get into Mark Minichiello was the difference between the two sides after a get 50 meter break to score under the posts. The Bunnies got up 14-6.

The Bulldogs had a touch of trouble putting away an upstart Central Coast Bears side today, but in the end had enough class to see the bears away in a hard fought 14-0 win.

Manly have come home with a wet sail to score 32 unanswered second half points on the way to downing a lackluster Warriors outfit. The Warriors will likely see double training this week after giving up a 16-0 halftime lead to go down 32-16.

In cold blustery conditions in Canberra today the Raiders have scored a effortless 20-0 win over the hapless Eels. Lead by rake Simon Woolford's two tries the Eels never got a look in at any stage.

In a first half steam rolling the Dragons have defeated the Knights 20-0 in yet another one sided game. The Knights never got a look in with some great dummy half running from Mark Riddell setting up the Dragons victory.

The Cowboys big guns stepped up to account for the Tigers 18-4 in a tough clash in Townsville. Lead from the front by Kevin Campion the Cowboys forward paved the way for a solid victory.
