The Bulldogs put their premiership credentials on display for all to see as they punished Brisbane 46-18 in front of a record Broncos home crowd at Suncorp Stadium.
Despite playing with 12 men for 10 minutes in the first half the Bulldogs smashed Brisbane scoring eight tries to three in front of a stunned crowd of 49,571.
It was the second highest number of points put on Brisbane behind the 48 scored by Melbourne at ANZ Stadium in 1999.
Fullback Luke Patten, centre Willie Tonga and winger Matt Utai all scored doubles while winger Hazem El Masri kicked seven goals to complete a damaging loss for Brisbane.

Brisbane equalised in the 23rd minute when replacement forward Corey Parker barged over off a Casey McGuire short ball after centre Shaun Berrigan had beaten several defenders.
The Dogs were left a man short when referee Tim Mander sin binned Patten for making a second tackle as Berrigan attempted a quick play the ball.
The Bulldogs scored again in the 27th minute, Tonga slipping a great ball to Utai which El Masri.
Brisbane's replay was swift, winger Stu Kelly crossing untouched after fullback Karmichael Hunt lobbed a basketball pass over the defence which had come in on him.
Darren Lockyer's conversion put Brisbane ahead 12-10 before El Masri slotted a gift penalty goal five minutes before half time for a 12-12 scoreline.
