Club Information/History
Cairns were originally part of the asrl as thei own identity, but lost that when they merged with the then Townsville side to create the North Queensland Dolphins. It was thought this identity would be lost to the archives untill coach Troy Haines was awarded an RSC feeder club, and quickly announced the club would be named Cairns White Pointes in honour of the huge support base in the Cairns area.
