Title: Immunity Challenge
Description: Challenge Five

chriswalkerbush - May 1, 2004 05:08 PM (GMT)
The two tribes met once again, this time on Bondi Beach- where it was discovered that resident terrorist Anthony Magro had felt the executioner's axe in eliminations.

However, as the two tribes stood in the sun and awaited the next immunity challenge, Chris produced a red-hot cattle brand and promptly re-branded everyone. The old tribal markings were gone, and the merger had finally come! The remaining eight members of Boonta and Wallabagunga would merge into a new tribe......
Wallaboonta!

'And to make things interesting,' said Chris with his usual level of incredible charisma, 'You're all going to vote one former tribe member back into the game'.

What to Do
Everyone remaining is to IM, MSN, or email me a vote for one of the following three former tribe members:
- Andrew Young
- Chris Maunder
- Anthony Magro

The person tallying the most votes will return to the game and only then will this week's immunity challenge go ahead.

Immunity Challenges from Now On
All immunity challenges from now on will be individual. That is, I will mark them and the highest scorer will earn immunity. Rather than have everyone who misses out write a 'punishment article' as they are being called now- voting will occur immediately after immunity is decided.

Voting Deadline
Please get your vote for the 'new' tribe member to me ASAP.

chriswalkerbush - May 3, 2004 03:23 PM (GMT)
The votes have been tallied and it has been revealed that the first man elimination, Chris Maunder, will be the man to return to the action as nine join to create the new Wallaboonta tribe.

Immunity Challenge
This week I'll be testing your knowledge of the ASRL, or more realistically, your ability to find things in the old forum. Each coach is to answer the following questions an IM or email me their answers before the deadline.

The coach who scores the most correct answers will be granted immunity. In the event of a drawn, a series of tie-breaker questions will be used.

All of the answers can be found in the current forum or at:
http://www.network54.com/Forum/144145

The Questions
1. The Adelaide Attitude weren’t always known by that name, what was the club’s mascot during the early years of ASRL competition?

2. Which current New Zealand international was injured after a pool cue was broken over his back? Who did the breaking? For a bonus point, where do they now play?

3. Two sides held a charity match in 2001/2002 for the Sydney Bushfires. Who were the sides, and who won the match?

4. Which player played Game One of the 2001/2002 State of Origin for QLD, before playing Game Two for NSW?

5. Which side won the one and only Clive Churchill Cup (made up of sides who failed to qualify for the 2002 finals)? Who did they defeat?

6. Which Central Phoenix player got man of the match in the side’s 20-10 Bob Fulton Cup win in 2002?

7. Which current RSC clubs bear the names of former Premier League and Division Two sides?

8. Which ASRL coaches did the following?
- Petitioned for an ‘all redhead’ team for the World Cup
- Accused the ASRL CEO of match fixing
- Allegedly found comfort in the arms of his gay flatmate
- Has an alter ego who he occasionally posts as
- Wrote a sestina defaming a fellow ASRL coach
- Accused John Skandalis of seducing Roger’s wife
- Was continually sexually harassed by Chris Maunder
- Got involved in a cyber fight during the Draft (after wasting second bid on Sean Hoppe)
- Ran YouBetSports for three seasons
- Was nominated to be in charge of poor grammar and spelling

9. Brooke Martin did a shoot for a popular sport magazine. Which was it?

10. The ASRL has branched off several times into other sports. Which sporting codes has the ASRL had a competition in?

The Rules
Send all answers (or all you can find) to me via IM or email before the deadline.
Mark clearly which answer applies to which question. I'd suggest using the number associated with the question.

The Deadline
Midnight, Thursday May 6th.

Sorry guys, slight error on my part.

Question 4 should be:
4. Which player played game one of the 2001/2002 State of Origin for Queensland and game three for NSW?

chriswalkerbush - May 6, 2004 04:08 PM (GMT)
Yeah, means that immunity this week is irrelevant. Since only Dave got his in anyway, it really wasn't so much a challenge as it was 'only one in, best dressed'.
