During the last few days Suva has been abruptly brought to it's knees as half its people took to the streets as only a politically dishevelled Pacific Island can to celebrate their recent victory over New Zealand in the first round of the ASRL World Cup. Looting began about ten to fifteen minutes after the siren was sounded and it has continued ever since.

"It is good for the country to be able to defeat our opponents. It also as good to see our citizens out and enjoying themselves fearless of retribution from guerrilas."
