Russian fans have been told to bring out the prayer mats by the man they call the messiah.
Russias coach Chris O'Keefe is delighted to have guided his team to the World Cup but with next to no support in PNG where Russia and Group C are playing he is trying to rally support.
Several key players have sustained injuries hence O'Keefe's call for supporters to put their hands together leading up to Sunday's make-or- break first pool match.
The stage is set for an intriging World Cup campaign for the Bears. We are aiming to come close in evrey game and just show we have some chance in the pool. Our aim is to come third in Pool C.
O'Keefe said: "Wales are a good team. ideally I would like to play them with a full-strength team. They will have a big chance in the cup and we hope we can rattle them a little.
With hoards of Welsh fans shipping over in preparation of the cup, O'Keefe is hoping some loyal Russian Bears folk will come over to watch them play.
O'Keefe also unveiled the new Jersey they will be playing in for this years World Cup. We hope we can get some Blue and Black in the crowd at our games.
