i dont actually play bass, but i play guitar so i think i can tell the difference between a quality bass and a shit bass when i play them, and having played this before, i have to say it seems a nice bass

kool, thnx for ur help, ill prolly try a lot of other basses b4 i buy it.. but i really like the sr405.

if you like it, then i would go for it (after you've tried the other basses first though), other peoples opinions arent going to make you like it less or more

I've played one of those, they are really sweet. I would definitely consider it if I were you. The batteries aren't hard to change. Good choice of bass :bang:

That model happens to be the same exact model my bass player plays. and since i play bass in a couple of songs (cause hes too stupid to do it hehe) i can tell its pretty good, i dont know a shit about basses but i like this one. Also 4 strings is cooler than 5 but this one is ok

If it suits you and you like playing it go for it man. The only thing about five string basses is you need about a grand for a good one, but Peavey and Ibenza do some great 5 strings at some great prices, You should test it plugged in before you buy it as well.

I prefer 4 strings because the necks are thinner and I've got quite small hands so I find it easier to play longer and faster bass lines.
