Ok so im playing in a new band.... no ones a met fan over there, which sucks, ive brought a couple of songs to them and were playing them (seek, whiplash, sandman, frantic...) the singer is starting to like met, the bass player says hell play anything as long as its a cool riff (so i got that covered) and my lead guitar player says he likes kirks work (not tallica, just kirk <_< ) but... the other day i brought fade to black and everyone was like "ok lets play it" but my stupid drummer said its too hard and he cant play it.....

my question is: is fade really a hard song on drums or the guys just fuckin lazy and doesnt want to play it???? i mean i cant play it, cause my drumming sucks but this guy has been playing for like 6 years and he can fuckin play wait and bleed and slipknot shit that i think its very hard

if he can play sandman and frantic he can play fade to black.

Pudboy is right. Fade is definitley one of the easier Met songs to play. Either your drummer is a poussy or doesn't like the song. :D

i suggest that you tell him that if you will not be playing fade to black then it will be dyers eve or all within my hands. he will soon think again.

I´ve been playing drums for 4-5 years now and I must say that "Fade To Black" is quite simple.

I've only been playing drums for a couple of months and I can play the song. not hard at all.

wait and bleed isn't hard..but it's much more difficult than Fade to Black. maybe he has problems holding back? he probably enjoys playing the solo section at the end..
