When you burn them onto DVDs how is the screensize and stuff, I mean when I play it on my computer the resolution is shitty when I make it fullscreen... Like does that happen when you play it on a tv?

Also do all videos play on dvd players or do you have to mkae the video a certain file type?

I can edit videos using program lke windows movie maker and splice it and stuff and also add title chapter and shit?
thanks

Well if your burning mpg then they are bound to go shitty resolution, but if its avi you gotta convert it into DVD formet

I have mpeg dvds... is there a way to smooth the pixels when they are in full screen,
like when you guys burn them on dvd disks do you watch them on tv or on your computer?

I burn mpeg as VCD its just easier.

Try searching videohelp.com for something like mpg to dvd

i got some questions about this too

i am using a canon XM2 Pal video camera to rip VHS to the DV tape, then plug into my comp and rip from DV tape to windows movie maker, then i save to my computer and burn using Sonic MyDVD.

when i do this, the files are huge (understandably) and 2 hours of concert does not fit on a 2 hour DVD - mor like 1 hour!

the bit rate is high, but i don't want to lose quality.

any suggestions on programmes that can save to DVD format and still fit closer to 2 hours on 1 2 hour DVD without losing quality?

What files are you saving them as?

I know your not using nero to burn, but if this program is like nero then.... if move maker saves as .avi it converts the file into dvd format automatically for you so of course the file size is boosted quite abit.

Maybe you should check it on, http://videohelp.com aswell

You should PM Jarrur about it, he's got plenty of experience
