I'm a beginner on guitar and was wondering Metallica song do you th should start off with?

solos.....fade to black (intro obv) and sanitarium (also intro).

master is good for practising downpicking later.

the best one to play straight away is for whom the bell tolls, gets you palm muting, powerchords, and you can attempt the high bit if you want to.

sanitarium's a good one too, fairly easy.

and nothing else matters.

It all depends on how advanced this guy is, if hes looking for the easiest because he doesnt know much stuff on guitar then i say FWTBT

But not Seek & Destroy as all the HO/PO

dudes if you start playing guitar you cant even do a powerchord.... learn for whome the bell tolls... I couldnt even do the intro of f2b till a couple months after I started playing cause my pinky wasnt developed enough... learn bells and dont worry about soloing now... just work on your finger muscles... after you learn powerchords then learn real chords... then you can do finger exercises and practise alternate picking... and your right fuct cause Ive been playing for more than a year and a half and I cant even play seek and destroy and I can play fade to black, sandman, sanitarium, and ktulu(sloppy) in full with solos and all...
