hi fellow cyber metal hedz...
i was wondering if any of you have heard/bought/used the pickup "DimeBucker" by Seymour Duncan...
Im gonna get a few with some money i earned, and ive read the reviews and most of them are really really really bad... so i thought in asking the members of the 4h bar for a real and trusty opinion

Yeah but you dont wannt have the same pick ups if you get me.
As his pick ups are pretty much for Panteras sound, and its real gay just to buy is pick ups because hes dead. But if you wanna play Pantera style songs for the rest of your life on the guitar you will install them in, then go ahead.

i understand what u r saying my friend, but doo u remember that i told u once that i build a guitar?? well im instaling that pickup there to keep it a as relic or something :) ...

Afraid i dont remember, but if you wanna play the guitar i suggest EMG they are the best pick ups.
But if you wanna play it some of the time then get the Dime ones.

Id recommend emg 81s in bridge and 60s in neck...

from reviews i've read i gathered that dimebag didn't actually use these.
^^ folllow that setup. I'm gonna get myself that setup, then move my EMGs in my ESP to my yamaha. Or get an SG.

i sold a dimebag pickup about 3 weeks ago and the guy that bought it says it kicks some major ass, this guys is a fucking great rhythm player too, ive also sold the emg's and they got put into a home made V and some more ass kicking going on, so buy what you want to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ph43r:

basically if you like the way it sounds buy it reviews are just there to guide you...
Im getting an ibanez and putting 60s/81s in it... taking the pickups outta the ibanez and putting them in my shitty ibanez... not sure on either Ill take out the 81 in my neck for my esp and buy a 60 and put it in that and use the 81 from my esp for the bridge for the ibanez I want :blink: :blink:

well thats a hard one to choose, i would say you gotta try them out, otherwise you cannt tell if you like em. I use a emg81 most of the time, but i also got some seymore duncans and they sound pretty awesome too. Depends on the guitar, sound you r looking for and amp you have...
