got my double bass pedal yesterday and for me dyers eve is not really a problem atm... (only the part which is NOT doublebass ;) )

you can try mountainbiking... i do it about 1000 to 1500 km per year, and i can play them damn fast ;)

i used to run in place a little but the biggest thing is to practice,practice,practice....when you play double bass or even single bass you get more speed and power by just using from your ankles down,if that makes sense....you dont need to have your whole leg bouncing up and down....its kinda like using your wrists for speed and power on the top of the kit.....i also used to practice double bass doing paradiddles and triplets and things like that just to build up strength...hope this helps.... :bang: :bang:

What i say is when your at the PC or whatever sat down. Just start moving your feet, then create patterns while tapping your knees then start slow and build up to fast

ya,i used to do that too, anything to get those muscles working and getting used to it to build up the stamina.
