Description: anyone know any?

fireoptic - September 7, 2005 11:08 PM (GMT)
what are some excersizes i could do to get more stamina in my left and right wrists when im playing bass? My left hand eventually runs out of energy from pushing down frets when im playing really fast and my right hand wears out from playing too fast.. haha.. what could i do/use to excersize those muscles?? Thanks in advance..

Try forearm curls and/or use one of those squeeze balls.

I never really did extra exercises i just played a lot of bass. Play beyond the point it hurts. or use the squeese ball sounds good. just practice away :bang: rock on

Thanks guys.. what about those grip things that you squeeze? their two handles with a spring kinda deal in the middle. I don't know what their called. Anyway, does that work the muscles used? Thanks alot

Anything that works the forearms and hands will give you more stamina, so that^ would be a good idea too.

:bang: i've been playing bass for a long time now and the best way to get stronger is just to play and play, also if you ar :wavey: e playing in a band it makes it easier to keep going because you have to keep up with the rest of them, practice practice practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I play a five (ibanez edb 605). I've played a couple ibanez 6 strings at a guitar center that were nice. Eventually i'm thnking of gettin one.

Do press up's and play on a regular basis then your stamina and speed will increase as your hands and brain get used to the pattern's you will play on the instrument.
